SRC Presentation
At this afternoon’s assembly, we proudly presented our Student Representative Council badges. Congratulations to Evie, Landon, Naarah and Hunter on their selection and commitment to this role. We also acknowledge Phillip and Brodie for their leadership and guidance. As we continue to shape and grow this new leadership opportunity, we look forward to working closely with our 2025 SRC to strengthen the student voice in our school.
Public Speaking Competition
Today, our students took part in our school Public Speaking competition, and we were incredibly proud of the confidence and clarity shown by all participants. Congratulations to Landon, Maddie, Kayden, Ellie, Hunter, James K, Phil and Ruby, who have been selected to represent St Mary’s at the next stage of the competition. This will be held on Friday 25th July at St Joseph’s, Adelong. We wish them all the best as they prepare to speak at this event.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended this week’s parent-teacher conferences. We truly value the opportunity to share learning progress and hear your insights. Feedback to and from families is an important part of supporting each child’s growth, and we appreciate you taking the time to meet with your child’s teacher.
End of Term Two
As we reach the end of Term Two, I’d like to thank our students, staff, and families for their hard work and support throughout a busy and rewarding term. I encourage everyone to take this upcoming break as a chance to rest, recharge, and spend time with loved ones. May the holidays be a time of peace, safety and joy for all. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the start of Term Three.
Enjoy the break,
Ryan

Justice and Peace
Most countries are members of the United Nations. On the 26th of June, it was the anniversary of the signing of the United Nations Charter in 1945, just before the end of the Second World War. The United Nations commits itself to “Maintaining Peace and Security and to develop friendly relations among nations”.
In our current world climate, this is a big issue for us all and the United Nations faces many challenges in helping to foster peace amongst nations. Throughout this time it is also important to reflect on the need to protect the Human Rights of all who are affected by these conflicts, many of these people are forced from their homes and countries.
We offer this prayer for peace.
A Prayer for Peace
Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the true King of peace.
In You alone is found freedom.
Please free our world from conflict.
Bring unity to troubled nations.
Let Your glorious peace reign in every heart.
Protect the dignity of every human life.
Replace hatred with Your love. Give wisdom to world leaders.
Free them from selfish ambition.
Eliminate all violence and war.
Glorious Virgin Mary,
Saint Michael the Archangel,
Every angel and saint:
Please pray for peace.
Pray for unity amongst nations.
Pray for unity amongst all people.
Pray for the most vulnerable.
Pray for those suffering.
Pray for the fearful.
Pray for those most in need.
Pray for us all.
Amen.
I wish you all a restful and peaceful winter break.
