Week 10
As we journey towards the end of Term One, I’d like to thank all our students, staff, and families for their continued support and involvement throughout the term. It’s been a positive start to the year, with lots of learning, achievements, and moments of connection across our school community.
Easter and Stations of the Cross
With Easter approaching, many of our students have been reflecting on the season of Lent—traditionally a time for setting personal goals, showing kindness, and thinking of others. Whether or not you observe Lent, it’s a good reminder of the value of compassion, generosity, and self-awareness in our daily lives.
I’d like to thank Mrs Dumbrell for the effort that went into preparing a Stations of the Cross and Last Supper reflection with our students. This provided a great opportunity for students to reflect on the aforementioned Lenten reminders
ANZAC Day 2025
Looking ahead, ANZAC Day will be commemorated on Thursday, 25th April. Our school will once again take part in the Batlow community ANZAC Day March, beginning at the RSL Club carpark in Pioneer Street and moving to the cenotaph. We encourage all students to join us in full school uniform, gathering at the RSL by 10:20am. This is a meaningful event where we show our respect and gratitude for those who have served and continue to serve our nation.
Return to School - Term Two
Students return to school on Tuesday 29th April. There will be no staff at school on Monday 28th due to professional learning that will take place with other schools in the Western Region.
Wishing everyone a safe, restful holiday break. We look forward to welcoming students back for Term 2.
