The Season of Easter
As we prepare to celebrate Easter, I want to emphasise the importance of this time in our Catholic school community. Staff and students are certainly excited about the impending long weekend but Easter is more than just a holiday; it's a time for reflection and renewal. It's a reminder of Jesus' sacrifice. Through Easter, regardless of personal beliefs or practices, we aim to deepen our students' understanding of Christianity and encourage acts of kindness that foster unity…something that I see as being relevant and important in any small community. I certainly hope everyone enjoys their Easter holiday but also encourage families to use this season to embrace the light of Christ and live out His teachings in our daily lives.
School Masses
Thank you to Father Joseph and Miss Buckmaster for leading us in our Mass on Sunday and today. We have certainly had a busy term but it is wonderful to again gather as a school community and participate in Mass. This concludes our Masses and Liturgies for the term.
Cross Country
Congratulations to all of our students that participated in our Cross Country today. We were certainly blessed with excellent conditions for our event. Please see below the results from the day:
8/9 Year Girls - Ollie Dodds
8/9 Year Boys - Ellie Dodds
10 Year Boys - Hunter Smith
11 Year Girls - Hayley Potter and Mackenzie Garner (refer to this evening's Facebook post to see if you can spot first past the line!)
11 Year Boys - Phillip Quarmby
12/13 Year Boys - Jack Shang
Thank you to everyone that came down to assist and support our students! If anyone would like to assist with the Western Region Cross Country on Thursday May 2nd, Week 1, please contact myself or Sam Flenley.
Term Dates - Reminder
A reminder that next week, families get an extra long weekend, due to Good Friday and Easter Monday. I hope everyone enjoys some time together over the Easter long weekend. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday 2nd April.
