With only a few weeks of the school year to go there is much information to keep on top of.
Morning Tea Friday 11am
A little reminder that new principal, Ryan Forsyth will be with us this Friday for morning tea. If you’d like to come along for a ‘meet and greet’ please know you are welcome.
Community Council
This week, we had our final Community Council Meeting for the 2023 year. Tuition fees have been increased by Catholic Education and approved by the Community Council. The council have not increased school based levies. The fees for 2024 will be in the newsletter next week.
We also acknowledged the success of our 100 year celebrations and the wonderful team we have established over the past few years. We, sadly, said farewell to Kathy Hamilton, Chairperson and Tracee Holland, Secretary, who have resigned from their positions. We thanked them kindly for their years of service to our school as parents and grandparents. Therefore, we invite any people interested in joining the committee to please get in touch with myself, Ms Amy Buckmaster or Ms Sam Flenley. The first meeting next year will be advised early in Term One.
Fee Remissions 2024
Please know that families are always able to able for a reduction in school fees. Financial documents need to be provided through a formal application process. Please see myself or Tracee for further details. We ask that applications are submitted as soon as possible if seeking a fee reduction in Term 1, 2024.
Canberra Excursion
Students from Year 3/4/5/6 head off to Canberra next Wednesday morning for their highly anticipated three day excursion. They are very excited and will have a wonderful time visiting many attractions and sites in our nation’s capital. The highlight will be Parliament House on the last day visiting the Education Office to debate a bill. We will keep families posted via updates on Facebook.
Have a lovely week everyone.

Thank you to those families who have let me know that they will be there.
We hope to see you there for our final Children’s Mass for our 2023 school year.
Thanksgiving Graduation Mass
You are invited! Thursday 7th of December will be a very special day for our Year 6 leaders as we farewell them at our Thanksgiving Mass.
Thanksgiving Mass is a time for giving thanks to the wonderful year we have had at St Mary’s. It is also a time to wish our Year 6 students well as they continue on their schooling journey into high school.
We look forward to welcoming our Year 6 families as well as members of our St Mary’s community to share this special Mass with us.
Have a lovely week.
