Catholic Education in Batlow is officially 100! What a wonderful couple of days we had celebrating this week. To see so many people with a past or present connection to St Mary’s enjoy reminiscing, catching up, laughing, smiling and enjoying our reenactment, to say the least, my heart is filled with so much joy.
A beautiful Mass was celebrated on Monday morning. The children were very reverent and sang beautifully. We thank Father Richard, Father Joe and Father George for concelebrating. It was very special to have our St Mary’s church full!
I hope you were able to catch a glimpse of the celebrations at some stage. If not, stay tuned for photo updates over the coming weeks.
To finish off a special week, this Friday 27th October, students are invited to wear their favourite socks to raise money for those in need. October is Socktober for Mission Month.
Wear your favourite socks and donate with loose change, both gold and silver.
With our loose change we aim to create a coin line. Our goal is to create the longest line of coins possible!
It will be a sock-tastic day!
