Dear Parents,

Our term is winding down and we are certainly enjoying the sunshine.

Family Sport Afternoon & BBQ Wednesday 20 September 4-6pm

It is getting closer to 25 days till our special birthday celebrations next Wednesday. So our next event is scheduled a little earlier due to the holidays. Please let us know how many sausages your family needs to assist us with catering. If the weather is poor we will postpone this event to Wednesday 11 October (the first week of Term 4). The aim is to have families split into Hume or Hovell and playing a game of Rounders to win the House Trophy! Should be loads of fun! Not too serious though! Come dressed in green and red if you can!

Kindergarten 2024 Interviews

It has been my pleasure to interview new Kindergarten families over this past week. We will be having a new Kindergarten Parent Information Evening Tuesday 17 October starting at 6pm. 

Sporting Opportunities 2024

I have shared details on Facebook re upcoming sporting trials for cricket and touch football for the Archdiocese. These are open to students in Year 4 and 5 this year who are performing at a high level in those individual sports and are interested in representing the archdiocese in 2024. Transport to the venue needs to be provided by the parents. We can assist with registration. Please contact us if you would like further information. Trials for other sports with also be shared on Facebook. Other sporting trials will be offered early next year.

Whole School Prayer was presented in the glorious sunshine today Miss Jackson and 3/4. 

Students were asked to:  

It was lovely to embrace the warmer weather and feel God’s love in a different way. 

To stay with this term's theme of pushes and pulls, K/1/2 investigated whether magnets can push and pull each other without touching!

Year 3/4 spent some time setting up their seedling fair test. We are seeing whether wheat grass seedlings will bend if we restrict the light they receive to just one direction.
