Book Week

Our Book week celebration last week was wonderful. Thank you to everyone who dressed up and celebrated great characters in literature. Book week is a highlight of our school year. Please enjoy our many photos in this newsletter and on Facebook.

A big thank you to Ms Murray for her preparation leading up to this event. The theme, Read, Grow and Inspire was a tribute to Ms Murray and all teachers, parents, grandparents and friends who inspire students with great storytelling everyday.

Fun Disco Evening

This Friday evening students at St Mary's are invited to join in our fun disco at the Batlow RSL, 6:30 to 8pm. This event is for St Mary's students only. Teacher supervision will be provided and activities will be lead by our Year 6 leaders. It will be a fun party to celebrate our special anniversary year.

Filming

We are after more volunteers who are happy to be filmed for our video to be shared at our 100^th anniversary luncheon on Sunday 22 October. Please let us know if you would like to call in and answer a few questions.

Memorabilia Needed

We are also giving a call out for any memorabilia you may have of St Mary's Batlow. We have some items and many photos but if you have any items like old uniforms, hats, books, reports, badges, certificates then we would love to pop them into a display. As a collection it can be bring back many memories for all. We will take good care of any items and return them to you after our major events in October.
