Dear Parents,

Just a quick report this week to say ‘take care’. Many students and staff have been unwell this week and required leave. We have appreciated parents treating cold / flu like symptoms seriously and keeping their children at home. Please ensure absences are explained in the Compass Parent Portal.

100^th Birthday Celebration Events

Please see the two inserts in here today re some upcoming events happening over the rest of Term 3. Both events are part of our 100^th birthday celebrations activities and we hope you will be able to enjoy both of them. The disco is being run by our Year 6 leaders and teachers are providing supervision. The Sports afternoon is here at school and will conclude with a BBQ.

Tomorrow is our Book Week Parade. This is a great way to celebrate literature and creative characters.

God of all hospitality and knowledge, 

You welcome all doubts and certainties that we place before you.

We are baffled at the problems in our world

And are consumed with grief by its brokenness. 

Where are you, O God?

Sometimes you seem silent. 

We long for your intervention in the suffering of our neighbours in our local communities and in our world. 

Yet, like Nathanael, we know you when we see you.

You make yourself present, active and alive in the world in ways we cannot comprehend.

Give us the faith to see you! 

Accept our sceptical ways and give us the courage to hope in you. 

Through Christ our Lord.
