This week's Learning Journey was a wonderful event! Thank you to all parents, grandparents and friends who could make it along on Tuesday. Such days are so special for our students. If you missed the opportunity please know that there are other events coming up to celebrate St Mary's birthday. We hope to see you at one or all events over the coming months.
Performance Monday 14 August
Next Monday, we have an incursion happening here at school "Wake Up and Read!" It will start at 9:30am and the focus, as you might gather, is on reading....with a few magic tricks thrown in. If you have younger siblings at home please bring them along to join in the audience.
Public Speaking
Next Monday our St Mary's representatives will travel to St Joseph's in Adelong to compete in public speaking. We wish Lacey, Morgan, Jack, Phillip, Mackenzie, Theo and Oliver the best of luck in delivering their speeches.
Snow Trip Update
Unfortunately due to Selwyn shutting until Wednesday at this stage and the unknown weather for Thursday, we have had to cancel our ski trip for 2023. We hope that this trip can be done next year. Families will be fully refunded or if you would like this money credited to your school fees, please advise Tracee by Monday.
Have a lovely week everyone.
Jannine

Mass will begin at 2:00pm. Please know all are most welcome to join us.
This day is a holy day of obligation in our Catholic faith that commemorates the belief of the day that Mary ascended into heaven.
Mary, as mother of God, is believed by some Christian faiths to have lived a life without sin. Some early-church theologians believed that since she and Christ were both without sin that Mary must have been raised to heaven just as Christ was. This belief started the feast of the Assumption of Mary.
O Most Blessed Mother,
Have a lovely week everyone
