Yr 7 Orientation 2024
Our three Yr 6 students are experiencing McAuley Catholic Central School today as part of their orientation program. McAuley is our secondary pathway for students at St Mary’s Batlow. I’m sure Lacey, Morgan and Nace have had a great day experiencing a new site and making new friends.
Enrolment at St Mary’s Batlow
Our enrolment period is open! We have had several new enrolments for our Kindergarten class of 2024 already! Please spread the word to anyone interested in having a tour of our school to come in next Tuesday 20 June to take a look through. Tours are not limited to just Kindergarten, but all year levels.
Parent teacher conferences
Please remember to book a time for interviews via the parent portal as soon as possible.
Have a lovely week ahead everyone,
Jannine
On Sunday, the Catholic Church celebrated ‘The Feast of Corpus Christi’, a day which honours and recognises the presence of the body of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist (the bread and wine that we receive).
Although our sacramental students, Jessica and Theo have a few more weeks of preparation for their sacrament First Holy Communion, many children in parishes all over Australia received their sacrament last weekend, including my nephew in Wagga Wagga.
It was a special celebration and we look forward to our upcoming celebration with Jessica and Theo in Week 10, Thursday 29th June.
A prayer from Sunday…
We bless you most Holy God,
for you appeared to Abrahahm at table,
you offered yourself in the last supper,
you appeared in the breaking of the bread at Emmaus,
you reveal yourself in the breaking of the bread at each Eucharist celebration.
Make us ever worthy of your presence in us and in those we meet.
Nourish and strengthen us in unity through the gifts of your Body and Blood.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
