A few reminders for this week.
Parent Teacher Conferences
P/T Conferences are scheduled for next week. Please book through the Compass Parent Portal. If you prefer, you may also contact the school office and we can book you into an available timeslot.
Cross Country
This is on tomorrow at the Batlow Golf Club. Some students have been training hard on our school playground. Parent assistance in manning check points is needed. K-6 will arrive on the course by 1:30pm and Yr 5/6 will run first. It's a lovely afternoon and the House Trophy will be awarded, so please feel free to come along.
Harmony Day Tuesday 21 March
Thanks to Ms Brown, staff and students created a beautiful love heart with one ball of wool, to represent our connectedness-We All Belong. It looks stunning and will be on our school's display at the Batlow Show. I hope you get a chance to get along this Saturday and see some wonderful work from all our students.
Have a lovely week everyone!

Harmony Day
On Tuesday, it was wonderful to see students in their bright colours in recognition of Harmony Day. Harmony Day is a wonderful way to celebrate our diverse backgrounds. It is a time to remember that we are all God’s children, to recognise inclusiveness, respect and belonging for everyone.
Project Compassion Fundraiser
Year 6 have decided to host a mufti day, cookie decorating and colouring in competition to raise money for those less fortunate than us communities in Nepal, Vietnam, Zimbabwe and Australia.
Next Friday, 31st of March will be our dedicated day to Project Compassion.
Students will be hearing stories from others around the world over the next week to understand the important work that Caritas does for others in need. They might like to tell you about a story they have heard and how our fundraising money will assist.
Please see our fundraiser poster designed by Lacey Hockey to promote our fundraiser.
Sacraments
If you would like your child to participate in receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion next term, please get in contact with me. amy.buckmaster@cg.catholic.edu.au
Have a lovely week everyone.

Week 8 was harvest week for 4/5/6! They harvested, scrubbed and peeled at least 40 potatoes
from last year's planting (thanks Morgan and Ethan Brown).
At least 8 corn cobs were also harvested (thanks Nace and Thomas Korn).
With the help of Mr Lawson as chief cook, the 4/5/6 students prepared "hot chippies" for the entire school and staff,
while the hard workers were able to eat warm, buttered corn.
What a treat to taste such fresh produce as part of our Biology studies!!"
