Happy holidays
Finally, I would like to wish everyone a restful break over the next fortnight. Autumn in our region is typically the best season. If you are travelling further afield, may you travel safely. See you next term.

The next major event in Holy Week is Holy Thursday (Thursday 14th). On this day, Jesus celebrated the Passover feast with the disciples. We know this feast as the Last Supper. This is the night He was betrayed by Judas and arrested.
The Last Supper is celebrated at every Mass, and especially on Holy Thursday.
The next day is Good Friday, and on this day, we commemorate the trial, punishment, and crucifixion of Our Lord. On this day we do not eat meat in reflection of the sacrifice Jesus made and many families enjoy fish and chips (My family gets together to enjoy my Nana's famous tuna mornay, yummy!)
Easter Sunday is the celebration of Christ's resurrection from the dead and marks the end of Holy Week. Easter is a joyous occasion that represents the fulfilment of God's promises to mankind, it is the most important holiday on the Christian calendar. It is a day for reflection and gratitude, with so many of us choosing to spend the day with family and feasting together. (My family always head to the dam wall in Tumut to enjoy a picnic lunch at Brandy Mary’s park, a day I always look forward to every year).
I wish you many wonderful Easter blessings over the coming week. I hope your Easter long weekend gives you all a much deserved break and that your days are filled with an abundance of love, laughter, delicious food (chocolate for breakfast?) and family. Amy Buckmaster - Religious Education Coordinator

On the last day of term this Friday, Year 6 invites all students to come dressed up as their future selves, bringing along a donation. Your generous support can help to change the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable people through Project Compassion.
Our Easter raffle prizes are all wrapped and ready to draw!
Please return tickets and money to the office by Friday morning
We ask that parents please don't pullup in front of the school gate.
This is a NO STOPPING area and you risk being fined if seen by the police.
This is also a safety risk to children trying to get in and out of the playground.
We thank you for your understanding this matter.
Next term we are looking for any parents or grandparents who may be available to help with our Breakfast Top Up programme. We have been running this programme for nearly 2 years now and see it as a valuable programme that supports a positive start to many students morning.
We would like to expand it to every morning from Term 2 if we have volunteers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Helpers will need a volunteer Working With Children's Check to be on the roster. Please let the school know if this is something you may be able to do from 8.30 to 8.50am.
