Dear Parents,
And we're off for 2022! I was on the playground this morning and it was a lovely welcome back for our students into their new class groups. I can’t believe how much they’ve all grown, especially our Year 3 girls Saskia, Ruby and Jessica. Our Yr 6 students look so much older than we remember. Our new Kindergarten students were welcomed onto the playground and parents were able to be with them for photos to mark this special milestone in their little lives. A big welcome to Catherine, Anna, Maddie, Landon and their families.
Swimming Carnival
This Friday is our Swimming Carnival at the Batlow Pool and notes will go out via Compass. Please sign and submit permission as soon as possible.

A Carer’s Prayer
Help me give the children the best of myself, cherishing them on good days and bad.
Teach me to accept them for who they are,
to listen to what they say;
to encourage their goals;
let me laugh with them.
Let me give them a place where respect is in the cornerstone,
integrity the foundation,
and that there is enough happiness to raise the roof.
May I give them the courage to be true to themselves;
the independence to take care of themselves,
and the faith to believe in a power much greater than their own.
Let them know they have limitless love, no matter what they do.
See that their responsibilities are real but not burdensome,
that my expectations are high but not overwhelming and that my thanks and praise are thoughtful.
Help me teach them that excellence is work’s real reward,
Above all, let me ground these children so well that I can dare to let them go.
May they be so blessed.
Amen.
