Hello Parents,
I hope that everyone had a relaxing break over the past 2 weeks and shared some downtime with family and friends.
Ms Collins is on carer’s leave for Week 1 and 2 with her daughter Elira whilst she undergoes a scheduled medical procedure. We wish Elira a speedy recovery. Ms Saunders and Ms Hughes will be looking after Year 3/ 4 in her absence.
Summer Uniform
Term 4 marks a change back into full summer school uniform and students will need their hats for outside play. Our policy is No Hat, Play in the Shade. All students will have one week to fetch out their hats and check they have their name clearly labelled inside it. The weather is still giving us very cold mornings so please use your own discretion with long pants and winter tunics for the next couple of weeks. But warmer weather is hopefully on its way! Fingers crossed.
Covid Update
We are still on Level 3 restrictions which unfortunately means that parents are restricted to come onto the school site unless for student wellbeing. All visitors and parents will need to check in and wear a mask and abide by social distancing measures. Please see attached some documents from Catholic Education that support our COVID Safe return to Term 4, which were also forwarded via Compass yesterday.

Gymnastics starts Friday
Ben from Little Champions will be running our gymnastics program again this year starting this Friday. Students enjoy this quality program and it is fabulous professional training for our staff to be part of as well. Covid measures are in place for this five weeks program.
Have a lovely week everyone.
Jannine
I hope that all families enjoyed a restful break together.
I have shared a prayer for staff and students as we look forward to the new term:
Dear God
We thank you for the call to teach and lead;
We thank you for the honour to share our knowledge and skill;
We thank you for the precious opportunity that lies before us each new day.
Come and bless us;
Help us to rejoice in the students whom you have entrusted to our care.
Help us to do more than teach;
Help us to guide and mentor these wonderful works of art, to learn, to discover, to imagine and to dream.
May we be messengers of knowledge, learning, possibilities and wonder -
All in the spirit of your marvelous love and mercy.
Bless us, and give us the energy, courage and insight that we need.
Amen
Melissa Hotham - Religious Education Coordinator
Sadly our trivia night again this year cannot go ahead due covid restrictions and the uncertainty surrounding covid at moment.
We hope that we can have a bigger and better trivia next year to enjoy after two years of not being able to hold this fun night!
