Hello everyone,
This week we continue in remote learning. Thank you for all that you are doing to support your child emotionally and academically. We are now into our fourth week of lock down and fatigue is a very real side effect, so look after yourself, and your family. Guidelines to support wellbeing encourage you to structure your day, eat well, exercise and connect with others via a phone call or email. If you are one of the many parents working with your child at home, keep up the good work! We are here to support you. Hopefully, we will be back face to face soon. Paper packs will be ready for distribution again this Friday afternoon between 2-3pm for our final week of Term 3.
Last Friday, many students participated in the Jersey Day Trickshot Challenge. If you have a video or photos of some of your attempts please send them in for us to share. We would love to see the variety. Ms Dobbie’s kicking goal was the play of the day last week. If you haven’t seen it yet, head to our Facebook page and take a look.
Finally, I just want to give special mention to our teachers and support staff this week who have been working hard behind the scenes to support student learning. Keeping to class programs and assessment routines have been part of their planning considerations as well pacing the work so that students are engaged in this different format. They are a fantastic team and deserving of a some applause. Well done St Mary’s!
Have a lovely week everyone
